Selecting and replying to messages via keyboard commands
I absolutely love how keyboard friendly discord is, and I can do 90% of my normal things with the keyboard on the app. There is one big thing that it's missing that it could take from twitter though. On twitter you can select and enter different tweets using J&K and Enter/R to enter and reply. I'd like to see a similar function to that on Discord honestly. Pressing TAB already exits typing mode in the app, so a message scroll/reply function could easily be used when out of that mode for easy no-conflict replying and reacting.
Keybind suggestions based off the current keybinds that don't conflict with the current keybinds
Tab (When not in typing mode)
Shift + Up/Down to select messages and shift+Q/R to quote and react respectively.
To make it easier for 60% keyboards it'd be preferable to not use arrow keys
J & K to select messages (J up one message, K, down one message. Maybe shift to automatically scroll up and down with a user-set speed). Q to quote (now reply) and R to React to a message.
Posted on /r/discordapp earlier, but I got the suggestion to post it here.
