Zoomed display mode on iOS produces black bars at the top and bottom of the app

To reproduce:

 

1. iPhone XS

 

2. Settings > Display & Brightness > View (Zoomed)

 

3. See black bars at top and bottom of Discord app, as if it is not recognising the proper resolution of the device
