The "(edited)" text when you edit a message.

An idea.

So when you've typed a message and for some reason have to quickly edit it (for example misspelled word), there should be a duration where you can edit the message without it being marked as "(edited)". Maybe 5-15 seconds?

I often find myself removing the message and retyping it correctly just for the sake of not having the "(edited)" thing next to it.
