    It could be a violation of TOS but don't forget that it's a chat service and anyone can say anything. For example, I'm over 18 (you don't need to know my actual age) but if I want to I could say that I'm 12 and then my account could get deleted?

    This makes no real sense, and a message isn't really proof. We really don't need discord removing users accounts if they send a dumb message.

    I'm all for upholding TOS and reporting users violating it but I feel that a message with someone saying they're 12 isn't good proof. If they were to send a picture of their photo ID and a picture of their face showing that they are in fact clearly under 13 then yes but discord shouldn't remove accounts for something someone said. This would cause a lot of issues as I have seen multiple people say that they're *insert underage age here* when I know for a fact that that is absolutely false. 

    Now if you have other proof then just a message then absolutely report that user but otherwise under no situation should discord remove accounts for that.
