Message notifications

On mobile I won't get anymore notifications after three messages until I look at the channel. Please create the feature that allows this on desktop too. I have friends who type a few words at a time and spam messages instead of typing in full sentences and the audible notification repeatedly coming out is a lot. It's also a lot during very active conversations. Three sounds then nothing until I look at the channel is enough.
