Close notifications on desktop after their messages have been read

Fatal Exception

When my friends are sending messages in a text chat that I'm in, I get a notification per message. When I focus discord, or read the messages on my phone, I'd like the desktop notifications to close. Right now, I can click on one of them, but I still have a huge pile of them after a while.

Other (web) apps like WhatsApp close the notifications on my desktop when I read the message, regardless of where I read it.
