Flag Emoji in username on Discord desktop

Good afternoon

Today I write the following post in order to post an idea:

I'd like it if the username allowed to include flag emojis in them, this is with the purpose to share my nationality around.

Currently, although the flag emoji works correctly in android, I can't see the flag emoji in my username when using discord Desktop, which is most of the time. Among other reasons, because flags require the use of the ":" character, and usernames don't allow such character.

I'd love it if you could implement a way that applies for all platform.
