Discord Streaming Overlay Chat Suggestion

When I'm streaming a game to my friends, sometimes I need to have my mic muted, or one of my friends needs their mic muted. Usually, this means that I need to tab out of my game a lot to see our no-mic channel, but I think there's an easy way to fix this.

The discord game overlay already exists, so why not add an optional chat feature to it? That way, I can type to my friends while ingame, or they can chat to me, all while staying ingame. It doesn't have to be anything big, maybe even just pressing a button combo can "activate" it and let you type your message out while you are ingame.

Please consider my suggestion, I think it'd be very nice for all those who tend to stay muted, but still want to interact with the community. Thank you!
