Discord Mobile [Android] [Samsung Galaxy J7]
Hi I just wanted to post on here because I've hopelessly been looking for a solution to my problem for weeks now. I've searched every corner of the internet and can't seem to find a fix.
I'm in a long distance relationship with someone very special to me and we enjoy falling asleep together in private calls at night. I personally enjoy knowing we're there throughout the night even if asleep; it's comforting. However, recently Discord decides to disconnect me from our voice calls what seems to be at random.
There are some circumatances that I've tested over the course of the last 2 weeks to no avail but I have figured out a few things:
-
Closing my screen results in the call dropping over time.
-
Viewing another app results in the call dropping over time.
-
Leaving the app open with the call screen literally showing results in the call dropping over time.
With those things being noted I would like to mention that yes I do meet the following conditions:
-
We are not in a server with AFK timeout.
-
Battery optimization is off.
-
Data usage is not limited.
-
My internet connection is stable.
-
My app is up-to-date.
It seems to be that Discord is kicking me from calls while I'm Idle on the app, even if I'm in a call with the app open and just not interacting with the interface. I'd say that it would just be microphone inactivity, however, my microphone constantly picks up background noise, so I know that's not an issue. It also does it even if I'm actively speaking to the person over time. I would very much like any input on this, preferably a fix. Thanks in advance.
