Let me Mute/Restrict People

The block function is really intrusive on the eyes and I don’t want the person I want to block to know I’m blocking. I’d rather “mute” them so we’re still able to be “friends” on the list but I don’t want to get notifications from them or even see their messages. It could work exactly the same as blocking but it’s “VIEW MUTED MESSAGE” instead and you can still DM one another. I just want to mute people. Muting people is a feature on Twitter that I think is worth bringing to Discord.
