Feature request: Stick message on top of a text channel
Please allow us to stick a message on top of a text channel in order to make sure users see it before it scrolls away when others post after it.
It would be also cool to be able to choose the duration of the sticky message and if to display it only that specific text channel or globally in all text channels of the server.
I know, it exists the "pin" feature but let's be honest, most of the people ignore it, and it's not as direct as it should be. That works more like a bookmark.
Also you can't pin the same message globally in all text channels.
I know, I could also create an extra channel (for example "announcements"), but in small servers like mine that just generates more mess.
People hate to check multiples channels every single day with the fear they could miss something important.
Topic description doesn't work well neither for this purpose, usually those sticky messages would be temporary events where you require people to react to promptly confirm their attendance or where you want to format the message in a particular way just like in the example below where I am requesting people to join at an exact time to play Among Us confirming with the :thumbs up: reaction.
I've see countless requests like mine and I don't get why devs are still rejecting the idea.
It would be super useful in so many different contexts, clean, direct and especially user friendly.
Thank you for your attention!

I would love to see this be implemented especially with the new feature of Stages. Most people have a stage discussion channel and being able to have a sticky message staying at top whether it's a question they are answering or what the stage is about it would make it easier for everyone
