Ban rework

ban needs to be reworked in discord, its a bit unfair and everyone uses bots
it automatically bans your entire household permanently, with no option to ban him for a select few days or even year

I have been banned from 2 of my favourite servers for dumb mistakes I made permanently, and I could not appeal cause I could not reach out to a mod, and when I did in one, they didn't do anything because the server did not consider anything about reverting permanent bans

My household is also banned from several roblox servers ofcourse because of sensitive things, and now my younger brother who plays similar games who might want to join one of their discords wont be able to. Before you go on a rant on me how I should just "follow the rules" they banned me with no warning because I exposed a mod for power playing, and then proceeded to ban like 5 others who got involved, I was also banned in another for "i like cuties" as a joke

I am not appealing to these servers, I am just saying the ban system needs to be reworked with an option to IP ban or not, select a certain amount of time to ban him for, and send a message on ban informing them why they were banned or an appeal form for later, and if they are getting permanently / IP banned, theres a warning like "Are you sure you want to permanently ban this person? He will never be able to join back, even when star wars becomes a reality!" or "Are you sure you want to IP ban this person? You will ban a whole household (insert random joke here)"

permanent bans should probably be taken heavier as its kinda unbelievable that I would have finished and graduated my GCSes, college and university, gotten a wife, kids a house and who knows, maybe own a company or outlived cancer, but I will still be banned off that server for "I like cuties" even if I am in my grave or if in the year 50000 they decide to bootup discord and use a random person to research for history and I'd still be banned...

bots are no better but if this is introduced, bots will have to be better and I have seen lots of people appeal to servers other then Discord and get instantly accepted if it was over 6 months ago

TDLR: Rework bans so that they can leave messages, decide to ip ban the or not, select how long the ban is, and warnings if they permanent ban / ip ban the person (do not revert any current day bans)

would also be cool if there was a quick ban option where admin or owner makes a set like "spamming: 1st offence" and mods when banning click it, and it automatically selects everything that owner chose, so 7 day ban with an appeal form and a message saying "you have been banned for spamming"
