Delete your copy of a private conversation, not simply masking it
Just like on Messenger or Whatsapp, it would be really useful to be able to REALLY delete a conversation (on your account only, it would not delete the other person's copy). Especially useful when you desire to clean your DM's, when you don't want to see some messages ever again, etc.

id not mind if it deleted the other person's copy as well, there's a toxic person i dm'ed with before I knew or understood how toxic they were, ive since deleted my dms to them, but his dms remain, and the dm conversation remains. Id love to be able to delete the convo and know its also been deleted from their acct as well. Either that or blocking them would be like in fb that that person cant find you, cant even see you in common servers (not like it is now that there's a "blocked message" w an x that you click and you can see, i block them they cease to exist, dm(s) convo is deleted, and i can no longer see their name in online or offline server ppl, and I cant see their posts in servers we're both in.

Drakos I agree, but it would unfortunately be dangerous if we had the capacity to delete another person's copy of a conversation. They may be proof of anything, and victims should be able to keep their messages copy.
However it would indeed be better if blocking somebody entirely erased the other person from our own Discord.

true, but it is already half way like so, I mean if i delete a comment (in dm or in a server's channel) it is deleted for every1 unless that server has a bot keeping full record of everything done in that server). So yeah a potential victim will have a record of their replies which other person cant delete, but that's only half the proof since other person's dm(s) can be deleted w/o any proof they were ever sent if victim hasnt had the idea to screenshot everything.
So, yeah perhaps the best solution is block like facebook, complete blackout between person A + B.
