Team Split for voice channels

Imagine this: You're a group of ten members who want to play a full lobby in a team game. Like League of Legends, Dota, CS:GO or Valorant for example. Then you could have a team voice channel with extra features.

  • Everyone could join the same voice channel and then choose their team.
  • Members of the same team could be sorted together and have accent colours.
  • A keybind could enable talking to both teams while default is just talking to your own.

Could be useful in other types of games aswell. Like matching your raid groups to keep voice clutter down for callouts.

Maybe even group assignments for online classes.

I imagine a lot of games could have cool game integrations with the feature aswell. Automatic team selection for example.

    So well put Cerium, just thought about the same thing today!

    This would suppose quite a unique feature notably differentiating Discord from competition in the Game field, and as Cerium mentions, it would even be useful for more things than games!
