[Feature request] Link local timestamp display to system preferences

The en-US locale has a mandatory preference for 12-hour time. My system locale is customized to display 24-hour time and dd-MMM-yy datestamps. I have to set my Discord locale to en-GB to keep my timestamps consistent between Discord and my system preferences, and this is an inconvenience as it suggests British spelling recommendations, which I do not prefer.
