Discord Not Launching
It all started like June or July. After one month of NOT touching Discord, I decided to fire up. It completed its update, however, it is stuck at 'STARTING...'
Just today, I decided to check Process Explorer, and realised that there are 5 Discord processes (do it is explained that it's for overlay, diagnostic, hardware acceleration, basically what is explained here:
https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/225733808-Why-does-Discord-have-multiple-processes-
One of the process will be stopped (say PID 7990), and a new process will appear (PID 3200). The process with PID 7990 will disappear and the PID 3200 will appear. It continues to loop.
Sick and tired of using the web browser, as it has limited functionality.

Hey there!
Maybe you could try pressing Windows+R key. It'll open up the Run Box.
Type in the box, "%localappdata%". Delete the discord folder.
Then type in the box, "%appdata%". Then delete the discord folder. Delete it from the recycle bin.
Try launching discord again! This will delete all of your discord data. E.g. It'll reset your zooming and settings. So configure that after discord is launched.
Good luck!-1 -
It doesn't work, I've tried multiple times, tried the Public Test Beta. Nothing work.
I even removed all registry pertaining to Discord.
