Changes To GIFs To Not Auto Play Constantly

The idea is really simple!

  • Make GIF's something that dont constantly play over and over again in chat
  • Limit the GIF's replay to something reasonable like 3 times or 5 times with a play button
  • Optionally make it so you have to click to play
  • Additionally afterwards make it so you have to however your mouse over it to play (desktop only)

The reason for this is I find the GIF's to be incredibly annoying in DM's or in regular chat to constantly be playing forever no stop. Its distracting and can be a bit annoying.

    You can already toggle this is Test & Images settings

    Wow, thanks for informing me. However this should be the default. The fact that i own 3 popular servers, and am quite familiar with discord, yet i did not know this existed, should be telling alone. That this either needs to be defaulted, or explained better.
