Feature Request - Server Calendars

Hello,

I've been wanting a calendar feature for a very long time in discord. The goal is to be able to organize and schedule community events and give users a quick place to view a server's upcoming events.

I can see a calendar button near the pinned messages button working well. Clicking it would bring up the current month's calendar, with days highlighted if there's an event at that time. Selecting the date will list that server's events for the day. Event schedulers should be able to pin messages to events to include additional information.

 

Requested features:

Permission settings to manage calendar

Permission settings to view calendar

Quick access to view server calendar

System notifications for upcoming events

A calendar in the home menu that includes events from all joined severs

    I feel like this would also encourage servers to make events for their servers too if this becomes a feature.

    I'm in a few medium-sized gaming servers and a small friends-only server and this would work great for both.  Doesn't need to be a huge feature, just a way to throw up events on a calendar with a creator, subject and maybe RSVP feature.
