Discord's app icon on macOS Big Sur needs to be updated to look to par with the icon standards of the normal Mac apps.

    Yes, please. Update the icon. Just put the same as you use in iOS app. Because it's a hell for perfectionists.

    Yes, though the app icon should follow the new "neumorphism" design philosophy. As Apple states in their guideline:
    https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/macos/icons-and-images/app-icon/

    > To give people a familiar and consistent experience, prefer a design that works well across multiple platforms. If your app runs on other platforms, use a similar image for all app icons while rendering them in the style that’s appropriate for each platform. For example, in iOS and watchOS, the Mail app icon depicts the white envelope in a streamlined, graphical style; in macOS 11, the envelope includes depth and detail that communicate a realistic weight and texture.

    That's not a real solution, we need the official icon to be updated because long-term, more and more apps are going to get official Big Sur icons, and it'd be silly to go and download icons for a handful of lazy apps.
