Delete Conversation History

Dear Discord,

                     Hello there. You can call me Honk. I'm not sure if youll see this or not but I gotta try anyways. I reached out to you in Twitter but all you replied with is for me to go to this page and send you a feedback, which I am doing now. I'm sure I'm not the only one nor the first to suggest this, but please put in the option to delete the whole conversation with someone

 

                     The block option is nice, but knowing with one click that I could see the messages of an awful experience, it just isnt a great thing. You said you aim to make Discord a safe place, so everyone would be happy and comfortable but it isnt unavoidable that we would get hurt. And many of us would love to be able to erase any trace of ever interacting with the people who have hurt us. So please make it an option, it would be greatly appreciated

    this ^^^^ even though you can hit close message i still feel uncomfortable when my parents look through my phone they'll find shit

    @trippik youtooz I'm sorry you have to go through that, parents shouldnt be snooping on their kids stuff. I could understand if it's actually for their own safety but just doing it because they want to is horrible. Kids should have thie r own privacy, especially as they grow older. Hoping that Discord actually makes deleting of conversation history possible

    uhm no, parents must look into their kids social stuff until they turn 18, its pretty much within their parental legal obligations.
