Reply feature - automatic ping

Please add a setting to make it so I don't automatically ping when I use the new reply feature. With the quote feature, this could be easily done with both hands still on the keyboard by using the backspace key, but now, I have to use the mouse and find the button to turn it off. I don't like pinging because it's unnecessary if someone is already in that channel. Thank you.

    If they are already in the channel then it won't make a difference because they are in the channel...

    It can make a difference even if they are in the channel. Quite a few people get annoyed by pings, and while it doesn't bother me too much, I can definitely see how it may get annoying if replies to one message makes half of your screen yellowish orange.

    Considering I've seen multiple people have to request, during conversations, (paraphrased) "please don't ping me for every reply, I'm right here", it definitely does make a difference for some people. And having it as a mouse-only setting that's enabled by default so you have to go out of your way to not ping... That's gonna bother a lot of people.

    I would appreciate if there was a) a setting to change your account's default is to not ping b) server setting that replies don't ping c) a setting to suppress reply pings regardless of what the other person set for their reply to you.

    I want the receiving user to have full control over whether they get pinged by a sender's reply or not. "Suppress pings" on a user's account should also suppress pings from replies.
