Will not receive push notifications until desktop client is closed
Hello, I have push notifications enabled for DMs and mentions, and I also have the AFK timeout set to 1 minute. However, I will not get any notifications on my mobile phone regardless of how long I am AFK. I don't have any fullscreen applications open in the foreground.
I only receive mobile notifications when I either:
- Quit discord entirely
- Lock my computer (with Windows)
- Put my computer to sleep
I have my PC configured to not go to sleep and I have several reasons as to why it is configured this way. Someone suggested that this issue started occurring with the introduction of 2FA, but I refuse to disable that on my account.
Are there any known workarounds to this issue? I rely heavily on user mentions from my bots as well as community members for monitoring purposes. Not to mention DMs!
Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

I have done some research and found that phantom inputs are to blame.
If you are on Windows, I wrote a program to help you identify what causes it. Simply follow the instructions listed on the page and enjoy! https://github.com/xaviergmail/DiscordNotificationDebug
For non-windows users, try unplugging all unnecessary peripherals until you find the culprit.
