Quality settings for the stream / webcam

Hello everyone, I got a suggestion for the videos and streams on a discord server or dm calls. I think that the user watching it should be able to set the quality of the stream / video in a "settings" button, something like you could do on a Twitch or Youtube. For example, you could set the video quality to 144p, 240p and so on, while still locking it to the 720p, if the person streaming does not have Discord Nitro. Could be a nice addition for people like me, who cannot for example download a game and watch stream simultaneously.

    While it might be an interesting addition it may be not as easy for discord to implement

    Since the streams are rendered in almost realtime ,
    Needing discord to renderer several stream qualities - discord might need either insane amount of computing devices , or it would simply delay the stream
    It would break the realtime stream from discord with the latter
    Or mean unnecessary extra cost for discord

    Regarding the camera video, I wish the streamer could set the quality to a lower res to save bandwidth.
