This is a continualtion of the Avatars by Server request originally posted on November 03, 2018 (https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360029341852-Avatars-by-server) - it has since collected over 5000 (at the time of this post) upvotes, nearly 1000 followers, and there was even a tweet by discord saying this is a cool idea, and should be posted here (https://twitter.com/discord/status/963096912172912641) since, there's been no update nor information from the Devs.
Unfortunately that post has reached it's maximum 1000 comments, however as this is clearly a feature people want, I have created this to continue the 'discussion'.


The request is as described in the title; the ability to set different avatars for different servers, something which in the significantly more online world of 2020 has been obviously lacking. I personally (as well as many other people apparently) use Discord for RP, Gaming, as well as professional activities such as Work and School, so the ability to set a more professional avatar for certain servers without changing my 'trade-mark' gamer avatar would be greatly appreciated
