Discord uninstalled itself
Yesterday I updated Discord and kept using it like allways.
Today I started the Pc, but It didn´t apperar on the windows menu, so I went to search it on program files, but it has vanished. What the ... hapenned?
I'm not mad, just confused.
I'll just install it again.
...
Done, it works just fine.

This happened to me today. Re-installation fails with a bunch of squirreltemp errors. I dunno. Sounds like their update service took a sheet during an auto update. I gave up for the time being. May try again later.

You need to remove every file discord related on your computer, I don't remember exactly how I did back then, but google has the answer

I noticed this today. I don't use Discord on my PC every day, but it's been fine until now, last used it okay a week ago. I did not consciously uninstall, only thing I can note is that I exited Discord from my systray a week ago. Discord was still listed in my installed programs, but had a generic file logo rather than the purple Discord logo. It was also reporting it was version 0.0.36. Any ideas? I thought I was going mad but this is not the only thread out there on this.......

Rex Seattle You need to right click the discord setup and then click properties, then go to the compatibility tab and then in "Run This Program Compatibility Mode For" pick the version of windows your computer is like for example:
My Laptop is Windows 8.1 so I run compatibility for Windows 8.
