After starting discord it keeps trying to find updates and it seems to be in a loop.

    The fix option is to completely remove the discord from your device

    I found this idea on another post : Just wait. Should eventually do it's thing. It took me around 10 minutes, may take less time, may take longer. When the discord icon flashes green, and the refresh ring next to the cursor permanently vanishes, it should be done.
