Noise pollution

Discord is CONSTANTLY making noises in the background. Most of the time for stuff I am not even getting notifications for. It is DRIVING ME CRAZY. I am starting to HATE Discord. I don't wan to hear ANY noises for channels I am not curreny "in" in the main window. How do I make this happen, so that I am only disturbed by direct messages or messages in the channel I currently have open in the center pane?

    noises this is ping, make just status do not disturb, this is red ball if what, then discord stop give sounds pings, or just click do not receive messages from the server, just check servers with pings red messages.

    If I set do not disturb, then I do not get messages from friend I am waiting to hear from.
