Per-user volume controls are too easy to forget about
Being able to turn people's volume up and down individually is amazing, but the problem is that there's a discoverability issue with it where you later on forget that you turned them down when they were being loud and end up telling them "Hey I can't hear you" and they start trying to troubleshoot and 5 min later you remember that last week you set them to 50% volume.
I think the solution is just to put some visual representation in the voice chat UI that the user's volume has been adjusted, some tiny visual cue telling you that they're set to 50% or 200% or whatever. Whether it be a number or a tiny slider bar or anything, just something to remind the user that this person's volume has been modified.
