WE FEEL INSECURE about accident server settings changes!

We are human and we make accidental mistakes, mistakes also increases when a server have multiple admins.

This is so important to me and many others, what i'm gonna suggest is obvious. I don't know why Discord didn't add these features in the first place.

I suggest multiple solutions, which i hope Discord add them all.

  • Revert option after any changes with a cool down (like many other apps). For example if you removed a member role accidentally, you can revert this till 6 sec later f.e.
  • Server Restore Points, create one or more server restore points, so that if something bad happens we could easily restore server and channel settings.
  • Create Backups (save to file or cloud) from the server. This is a little bit different from previous solution and it can replace it. You can create and save basic layouts from your server, then apply the layout to any other server you can manage. Bots could do it but its cleaner more reliable and secure if discord does that. 

About the third solution or the other two i don't think users could abuse it, but i'm curious what others think. Please comment below.

    The second option would be very useful in the case of a rogue moderator.

    As good as this would be, think about data storage.

    maybe if it exported it all to a file, and the server owner or select members could download it and then a 'restore from file' option, so that it can be free.
