Feature Request: recent/overlay notifications log

So, this happens all the time:
I'm playing a game and a post pops up on the overlay. I'm doing something, so I only catch part of it, but what I catch grabs my attention. But I don't click on it fast enough to go to the post.

Worse, it was posted in #general-chat. I'm a member of dozens of servers, and many have #general-chat, so I have no idea where to even start, and I have no hope of memorizing everyone's name (especially for the 14k+ member server).

I would /really/ love to some way to see where the last 10 or so posts that came up on the overlay came from. Having the red unread notices on servers is only useful for the 3 I run/moderate and so keep up to date with. The rest can accumulate hundreds of unreads before I get around to them, as I am a member of many servers as resources and a means of having contacts.
