moving messages

I see people have been asking for the ability to move messages from one channel to another I just started my own discord and was looking for a way to do this as the group evolves it would be nice to move old messages to new channels ive setup .... is this ever going to be an option? Thanks.

    During it's not enabled on discord, you can Copy & Paste the messages

    Came here to ask for this feature too. It would be great for keeping things organised. When people go off topic for some reason, but the "gold" that you want to keep sorted into a channel is mixed in, or whatever, being able to reassign the channel a message shows in would be awesome.

    You can't copy and paste a dozen or a hundred messages, that's weird, loses the attribution, and wouldn't be great for the images. But having a right click option to select the messages and send them to #on-this-topic would be great. It could still be in the original channel, or just get shifted wholesale.

    Very similar to an option in Slack that Slack lovers go on about all the time. We could steal their thunder!

    This would be so useful at least for moderators, we can already pull and move people in voice chats but can't move or assign a text chat to a different channel. It would be extremely useful for my sanity to keep things on topic. Please discord gurus I know you're there I see you on twitter answering these very requests
