Discord screen on sleep mode windows 10

Whenever I leave discord running in the background, and put my windows 10 surface pro on sleep mode, i open my computer and first thing that i see is the discord screen. I can't interact with it and can't minimise it. I can only solve this by quitting discord completely and restarting it. This only happens whenever i close the tab and leave it running it the background, otherwise it is fine. Although it is a small thing, it's become increasingly intolerable.

    I have this problem but I never used to have a customized background. When I turned on custom background, I ended up having this problem. I would like to keep my background even if it means the extra irritation of having to start and quit discord every time I open my laptop. If this is also the case with anyone else and you set up a custom URL background then maybe turning it off could help.
