Recently I have ran into an issue wherby a user that had an existing "Nitro classic" subscription was gifted an additional month by myself to "top-up" the access time to nitro perks before their month had ended,unbeknowst to me I had purchased a month of "Nitro" and not "Nitro classic"
However after completing the purchase an issue arose wherby if the gift recipient currently has an active plan of either Nitro or Nitro Classic and the gift they are given and go on to redeem is different to their current one, upon redeeming the gift no access will be given to nitro perks but the purchaser will not be eligible for refund as said gift was redeemed.
After some reading through both the discord apps nitro section, TOS and discords official support there doesn't seem to be clear mention of this anywhere.
I would like to suggest just a small confirmation box that appears when purchasing a gift subscription that prompts the user to be absolutely sure they are purchasing the correct nitro plan before purchase.
