Possibility to synchronize two servers and one channel each

Hi,

I have a server (1) and a friend also has a server (2). Both servers have many members. These members should now have the opportunity to get in touch with each other.

One possibility would be that all members of server (1) go to server (2), and all old postings are lost. (Or vice versa from 2 to 1) - Very difficult with the number of users -

Another possibility would be that all members of server (1) also become member on server (2), and vice versa. On server (1) and server (2) only the rights are assigned, which are ok for the respective user. - also very difficult with the number of users -

My idea is now the following:
Server (1) and server (2) make a new channel on their own server - for example # sync-channel. Now a bot, plug-in or tool should transfer the contents of # sync-channel server (1) to the # sync-channel server (2), and vice versa. If a user of (1) posts in this channel, it will be transferred to the channel on server (2). If a user of (2) answers to server (2) on it, then it should be synchronized in the channel on server (1).

Is that possible?

    This is already possible with Discord bots (but might pass rate limits if you have a really active server).

    Yes, this is possible, I have been looking for a bot as well. Currently, I am using a service called Zapier, so I can use Webhooks, but there is a problem with this. Zapier delays all messages by 2 minutes, meaning it sends all messages, but only checks for new ones every 2 minutes. It has been fun testing with Zapier but I wish to go further, I’m glad to see someone else has the right goal.
