Feature request to Hide overly active server members
Feature request to expand on the "mute" function for other sever members to make a toggle that doesn't delete or block a server member, but hides all of their messages from a server of which I'm simply a member so that it's easier to see the messages by other posters, particularly the actual server owner. Basically a "tune out" function that can be turned on or off that simply hides a specific user's messages.
To clarify, I was wondering if there isn't already, if it would be possible to "tune out" or "filter out" messages from fellow members in a mutual server where I am not the admin, and I don't need to necessarily block them myself. In the case I'm referring to, it would be someone posting a lot of the same boring stuff, flooding the channel with things I'm not interested in. If others are, let them post, but I would like to filter that person's post out so I can see just what others are posting; specifically, the server admin.
If this is possible, it would be a polite, passive way to see what I want to see, and not have to ask the admin or the overly active user to tone it down.
