Different audio output device for stream and voice
There should be a setting for which audio device to use for watching Discord game streams, so that I could use a different device than what I use for voice comms.
Windows has separate settings for default audio device and default voice comms device. Discord uses the system's voice comms device when it's set to use "default". But now that Discord plays game audio too, it should be aware that stream audio doesn't always belong to the voice comms device.
At least when Discord's voice output device is set to "default", it should use the default general output device for streams. But ideally, you could freely choose any devices for voice and streams.

I agree, I need my voice comms seperate from game audio otherwise I can't hear people

Discord's audio settings are wonky. "Default" should follow the system default, but it doesn't. If it's not the global default, it needs to be labeled more clearly to show what "default" it's following.

I use a mono headset for comms and desktop speakers for game audio. Having stream audio come through the headset is a problem.

When I stream content while I'm in VR (using Rift) I use the OculusMirror.exe to stream because it has a wider view than streaming the application. But because of that, I can't stream the audio of the game cause OculusMirror.exe does not output audio. Therefore, allowing us to pick an audio device to send audio would help solve inconveniences like these.

Bumping this (?) for visibility. I've been hoping for this feature for a while.
Some headsets, such as the Steelseries Arctis line, have a rocker control that discord integrates with seamlessly. It essentially runs two output devices; one for chat and the other for games or other applications. Unfortunately when watching a user's stream, the audio is often drowned out when in an active voice channel. The only workaround I have found is to manually turn down each user's voice level, though this is not ideal as it saves those levels which can be frustrating to reset later. This also doesn't affect levels of new users joining of course, and you have to keep adjusting as they appear.
It would be incredible to have a setting for selecting which audio device user streams will come through. This would also be great for splitting voice chat to a headset and stream audio to some desktop speakers.

this would also be good if you're using something like nvidia broadcast (so I don't have to listen to my friends loud af keyboard but can still hear his go live stream audio fine)

Would like to see the Live stream be a separate audio source/app from the voice chat channel. this way we can apply noise cancellation to voice chat without impeding audio from Live Video Source.

This would be very useful for the exact purpose mentioned. Additionally, this would allow those who have headphones with Game and Chat mixes to be able to watch a stream at full audio quality and have the ability to mix the audio channels to raise or lower volume independently. Myself included.
Would like to hear any follow-up on this.

I found myself needing this due to my headset having two outputs, one for Chat and one for Games, the chat one is Mono sound and discord defaults to that for my stream audio which makes it sounds very tinny and low quality.
