Mentioning without pings

It would be nice if we could have the ability to "quote" someone by doing @.random#0000 as a lot of people already do. That wouldnt mention the person but would give every features you have, for exemple clicking on it leads to DMs ! I think that would be really helpful for people who are mentioned often but that actually don't need to be mentioned (I'm thinking about Moderators for games who can ban and unban for exemple) !
