The current one is so much better than this. I get it's supposed to be more stylish and modern, but, as they say, if it's not broken, don't fix it. Also, what would you do on text messages? Overlap the text because of some reactions? Or when there are multiple rows of reactions? The current one doesn't need to be changed in order to do the above, but this system will need to. It's just unessecary, and not that pretty imo. 2 -
I completely agree with you @Costpap. I personally don't like this idea either. It overlaps with the message, which defeats the whole entire purpose of reactions if you cannot even read the message that you would like to react to. And as you said, the current one does fit the look of Discord and is very modern.
I feel like the one that she made makes it feel less modern, plus I honestly just don't think it really matches the current design and look of Discord. But hey, that's my opinion.

@Costpap u are right about the text, on the subject of multiple reactions, it could be adapted by making them as buttons without contours, not as the current model. Thanks for answering

@Nazse - the issue is that not many people would like the reactions to change. Discord has already been adding lots of things to their program that many people do not like, and we don't need more of that.

@Joseph It isn't add in this case, it is simply an aesthetic and functional change... The problem that I see here, right now, just because Discord "works" doesn't want to make changes, that's average i think.
