Adding Gif and Pic Feature to Editing Old Text/Posted Message within a server

Can there be an update to the edit, meaning can the edit include adding gifs and pictures to avoid having to repost each time just to add a gif or picture within a message? I’ve attached a screenshot in an email I sent to explain better. I was editing one of my messages within the server I’m making, my words are fine but all I wanted to do was add an image to it. Lol I can’t do that so I would have to constantly copy and paste what was old that I had written down and repost the same thing just to add an image because the link I used caused the image to be posted at the end of the edit and not directly under the actual description I wanted it to be posted to. I think a lot of ppl are also experiencing this issue and that this would be very useful!

    Understanding what you meant. But I think the current image adding system is fine. Don't you think, depending on the type of message, posting again will not be helpful? For example, if it's a press release or something, server members who haven't been able to see before will have another opportunity to read the published content in addition to helping new members of your server.

    It's just my personal opinion, bye, bye! :D

    Disappointing this has not been addressed in 2 years.  I also want to add/paste new images into old messages that have been pinned and need to be updated weekly.

    I agree it's frustrating that you have to have a disconnected photo from where it's actually meant to be. And in the end I often choose not to include the photo which is also disappointing.

    And as for the person who thinks the system is perfect as it is, that'd be really great, if you were the only one using it. Obviously others feel different and our needs are different than yours.

    Same here, I also would like to update old posts with images. Unfortunately, lots of old posts.
