About deleting messages..

Is it difficult to make it easier to delete messages? Currently, I have to use the hidden options menu to the far side of the sent message to select delete. Then there is a confirmation of deletion.

 

All these extra steps makes it really hard to weed out spam in specific chat rooms. 

Some mechanics that might help:

Set a flag in the options to A: Always delete messages upon request B: Always prompt before deletion 

Provide a button next to the hidden message menu that allows instant deletion (Like an X or a red button)

Give the ability to right-click to open the hidden message menu.

Allow users to draw a box and select multiple messages at once before providing a menu

    If you download the desktop app, you can right click to open the hidden menu. Also, if you hold down shift when you click delete, it won't ask for a confirmation. If you want to delete many messages in a row, it might be easier to get a bot to do a bulk delete. I hope these tips helped :)

    How do i delete messages i posted on a server - on which i don't have access anymore. Since i am the author - they do infringe my copyright/authorship...

    The issue with deleting multiple messages is that we shouldn't NEED a bot do that for us. We should be able to do it ourselves.

    You can set what should happen to your messages (being deleted after n days or if you left the server/got banned).
