TTS suppress markdown

A markdown, to make TTS skip stuff marked as such would be nice.

For instance, I have a Discord server with a Factorio (game) to Discord chat-bridge bot.

It would be nice if I could put the game-time datestamp in markdown of some kind, so discord & screen readers don't read the gibberish-sounding string of numbers.

    It would also be great to have an option to disable TTS speaking emojis and symbols in names!
