Discord needs a "Toggle Talk" option for Voice Calls!

Brief: When I am playing a game with my friends only the one thing I want to do is talk unrestricted and have all my friends hear me, but at the same time be able to quickly mute my sounds when needed.

Currently, there is no way to do this. You either have to use "Voice Activity" which is an always on mic, or you have to use "Push to Talk" which does help slightly keep sounds you want private from others hearing, but you always have to remember to press a button or key that you set, and this is exhausting. The huge downside to this is, which mist can agree, is that you always start talking and forget to press the button down, and no one hears you. this is a bad method for ppl with memory issues.

Request: The Ideal "method" would be having "Toggle to Talk" which would allow you to assign a button or key that would be used for this. By default it would be on like "voice activity" and when the button/key is pressed "once" it would turn voice off (mute you). then when you want to resume you conversation you turn it back on. 

Summary: "Toggle to Talk" this is way more efficient than "Push to Talk" and way less exhausting will significantly less button/key pressing. and more focusing on what your doing! which is that whole point.

    OMG!, You know I have been trying to find a way to assign mute to my key and controller when I play games for a long time, and I could never find a way to do it! Every time I use push to talk, I am always talking to myself b/c I forgot to press my assigned button down, or I forgot which button it was LOL!, it much easier to assign it to a controller but regardless! This would be freaking amazing to have! I really hope this gets the attention is deserves because this would be a extremely useful function for discord voice!

    a mod from a server just informed me ...  how to do this another way. I never new this was possible

    This gives the annoying "mute" and "unmute" sound whenever used.

    To get round this got to notifications and uncheck both.

    The only issue with this method is it doesn't actually toggle PTT so in channels that are set to must PTT it still doesn't work. My keyboard let's me do it, so no biggie, but a pleb friend was looking for a work-around, which lead me here...
