VP9 Alpha channel support
Discord doesn't currently appear to support alpha channels in video files. It could potentially save a lot of space over gifs. A loop option for videos inside of the desktop version of Discord would also be nice.

10 months no response.
If you inspect element and create a video element manually with a link to a WebM with alpha channel, it works. Discord however sets a black background in their video player.
