Blocking Users.

Instead of the Blocked message bar appearing, and allowing you to view messages of someone you blocked in a server. Discord should hide all messages from a person you blocked. The current system defeats the purpose of blocking someone because you can still communicate in a discord server. Please make it like on twitch where if you block someone, you dont see any messages from that person.

    Give us this feature NOW. Can't be that hard to actually implement an actual blocking of the message. Just make it hidden in CSS if you can't handle the asynchronous chat.

    I agree. I've joined several discord servers and find some people's messages to be disturbing while everyone else is fine. When I block them, I don't even want the advantage to read anything they say while blocked. Just remove the messages period.

    Discord must also improve the block feature by making your messages invisible to the person you blocked because if not then the toxic users can keep harassing you in a shared server by still replying to your messages and affect the entire chat despite their messages being hidden for you.
    The idea is that the blocked person shouldn't even be able to know that you are still the server without asking someone else.

    ^ This is the most important feature I need Discord to add, I'm even willing to donate if they could just implement this one thing. This should have been implemented back when Discord first started.

    I agree with this because its just so annoying that when I see someone that ive blocked in a server, i want to have the ability to not be able to see them at all, not at all on the users list or even when they send a message in the server. I blocked them for a reason, i shouldn’t have to put up with their stuff ever again

    Agree with this so much. And let us block friends, without force-removing friend status.
