Option to tie a custom status to a program

What I want is to be able to tell people on Discord that I'm currently busy programming when I open my IDE.

Before the "custom status" feature, I set my IDE as a game. This worked ok, except that it said "Playing Visual Studio" which was a little weird. Now with the custom status feature I can just set it to "Programming" when I'm busy. The problem is, I have to do this manually. Sometimes I set the status and forget to remove it when I'm no longer busy. It would be much easier if I could set a program to display the status, similar to when you're playing a game, but otherwise use the feature normally.
