Discord Screen Share is Very Low Quality/Mouse Cursor does not show.
This has been an ongoing issue for around a month or two. It still has not been fixed and I've seen other posts on Reddit about this same issue, no one replies about how to maybe fix the issue on those posts. So I've decided to take it here.
So when I turn on screen share at 480p-15FPS, 720p-15FPS, 480p-30FPS, 720p-30FPS on Application Window or just "Your Entire Screen", no matter what, I have this very pixelated quality resolution as I am screen sharing. I have been waiting for a fix for a while now and still have not had this issue resolved. It's frustrating, it is completely unwatchable. If you turn to 720p-30FPS or even 1080p, it's acting as if it is less than 144p quality, which is very, very bad.
This is not just an issue for myself, this is an issue I have with all of my friends who helped me test this issue. It's the same for all of us.
In addition to this problem, there isn't a mouse cursor either, the only way I can tell where someones mouse is when it highlights over something interactive. It seems like when the cursor was gone, it created the very low resolution screen share problem. My friend have re-downloaded and installed Discord to still continue to have this issue.
For some odd reason, when you start a screen share, it does go to normal quality of which option you select, after 1-2 seconds it is completely pixelated. It is not the internet connection, it is nothing to do with this. We've never had this issue until 1-2 months ago. I hope this gets resolved as I know myself and others are also having this same problem.

Same issue here, been trying everything. All my friends who have a 5700XT GPU have the same issue.

Small update, might be Chrome (chromium based browsers) related running in the background.
The issue disappeared while closing Chrome or using Firefox instead.

Having this issue also. It's just me and nobody else on the server. New Windows install on top-of-the-line hardware. People watching my stream say, "It's like watching a slide show of still images."
I will try the closing Chrome fix.

Found the solution ( at least for me) , go to discord settings > Voice & Video .. then scroll down till u find "OpenH264 Video Codec...." and uncheck it , that should fix the bad quality stream.

I had the same problem so I change the internet cable to gen7 and i change my SPEED and DUPLEX value on the ethernet advance settings to: automatic negotiations... working like a charm for me. No stater no pixels when streaming.
