How good would be if there was just rename friend ?

Hey there , 

 

few days ago I was looking for away to rename my friends name's as they change them always and I cannot always know when they change it.. ? So my question is { Is there a way to change theirs names to my OWN which would be easy to remember each one ? } 

Simple like nickname in Discord Servers but to work and in Friends list ?

    Steam is doing it right, friends can change their name to kingdom come but I can keep tabs by giving the name I like as a nick name.
