Hardware keyboard Enter key on iOS

Mobile devices (like an ipad) with a hardware keyboard can't take advantage of desktop shortcuts or things as simple as using the enter key to send! Please make this a thing :C

I know similar topics have been sent before but this doesn't get any traction. Shift + enter still skips a line, so its not an issue with the enter key not registering.
