Push Notifications

I do not get any push notifications outside of a 1 to 2 second overhead message preview. I do not have anything but the mobile app, and am on an Android. I have been told to uninstall, reinstall, restart my phone, try on wifi, try on data, and have now been told to change my DNS. Anyone else having issues? Ive unistalled this app several times over the past 6 months because I have no idea when I am getting messages

    They told me its a bug, we have to just wait.

    Push notifications in discord have been inconsistent since the first release. The recommended steps to troubleshoot it are equivalent in stupidity to power cycling a modem. They have no clue how to write a push notification service for android.
