Leaving Group DMs shouldn't ping all members or move the chat to the top

I don't see any practical reason for why everyone should be informed immediately when someone leaves a group DM.

Getting notifications from old group DMs which were left by someone is pretty annoying. And the fact that all members would be pinged makes me (and I assume others) more hesitant to leave 2 year old group DMs to declutter the recent chats.

The slightly detrimental nature of those notification and absolute lack of utility gives no reason to leave the notifications in.

    This needs to happen. There is zero reason to let everyone in a group chat know when someone leaves. We should have the option to leave a group chat without risking judgement from other members of it.

    Please please implement this!! Even just removing the ping in some way, I (and im sure MANY others) have dms from years ago at this point that are too cumbersome to leave, even though their presence in my dm list is an eyesore.
    The option to declutter and cleanse without giving EVERYONE a pesky push notification would greatly improve my QoL on this app.

    I want to be able to clear out or organise my DM's.
    The fact that I cannot leave old group DM's that doesn't serve a purpose anymore, just because it would ping everyone and 'activate' the group again, makes me hesitant to do it.
